Anyway, weddings, especially family weddings seriously kicks ass. I mean well hey, not many has a really close-knit family, like i have. With family members scattered all around the globe, during my cousin's wedding (besides hari raya) is when all came together as one. Rawkin'. Well, the generation of cousins i am in, are basically almost all married. Which is left, me and 5 other cousins. Calculations shows that, alright one is attached which is likelihood she's gonna get married next or so, another one is engaged or so but the partner is a bruneian then again well yeah he's gonna get married next too. Another, is a bummer who i dun think will get married in the near future. And another is a career-minded Malaysian journalist. Which i am left the last. Which i seriously think that, i won't be the one next in line but definitely the last.
THAT IS FOR SURE.
You won't hear those wedding chimes kickin in for me anytime soon alright.
The last wedding reception i had at Hyatt, was in 1999, let me see, that was 8 years ago. When this year i came back, there's no change except for the rooms. Boohoo. I swear, Hyatt should change their carpets or so. It didn't changed abit, except for some knick knacks here and there.
It's funny, that most of you may think Hotel weddings are grand, but to me i think it's the best package one could have. Hey, you've got a nice place, good food and everything comes with a slightly pricey package. Besides void deck weddings, which is the most commonly used in most Malay weddings in the country, at least hotel gives you the package of comfort and slight luxury plus, hey you don't get tangled up in the clean up after that aye?
With calculations made, the amount used up to tally up void deck weddings or community center weddings with hotel weddings is pretty much equivalent. So, here's to more hotel wedding's in the future! I've had enough of Hyatt though, can i have something else please? Say Fullerton? MUAHAHAHA.
If only it was a wedding dinner, than i would love to dress up glamorously, but then again, the luncheon was pretty good too. The food was great, but one spoit the spread. Mee goreng. EXCUSE ME? rather common aye? The dim sum was good, the breaded chicken with mozarella stuffing was yummy. The desserts were to die for.
Pineapple strudel with vanilla sauce.
Strawberry cheesecake.
Chocolate tarts.
Creme brule with wild berries.
Vanilla panna cotta.
Chocolate fudge slices.
Nonya kuehs (the one thing i don't really fancy)
Fruits.
Hell alot of puddings.
Okaye, the desserts were really the main course for me. Yeah, i started the other way round. The desserts came in first than the main course. HURHUR. Well, i got a sweet tooth.
Well, they say marriage, is not an act but it's just a sentence.
A life sentence.
BUT besides, the main torture, i swear marriage is bliss trust me (i am not kidding!) Well, i've not gone through it, but i assume it is. With all the huge romantic hooha's about weddings, i bet the life sentence is full of craziness, crazy love.
I swear my cousin landed himself one hot bride. HEH.

Family Weddings
So the wedding was really fun. Tired, but yet fun. On Friday, i rushed down from work all the way down to the cousin's place before he went off to get married, erm yah. It sounds pretty rushed and all, "before he went off to get married" bah whatever, i was creating the z's in the bus like no one cares, hey you can't blame me. I was tired as hell. The moment i arrived at the cousin's abode, it was pack with my family members from all end's of the world. I swear it's one helluva reunion. With yummy food to complete the package. Within minutes, the wedding contingent party headed off to the Bride's place for the whole-bore-me-to-death ceremony to take place. I stayed on with the rest with my cousins digging in the food that's left and yes to catch up with things.
Most of them have not seen me for like eons years, and some couldn't recognise me. As much, that i'm one of thier generation of close-nit cousins. HAHA. Which is to their surprise that i've sprung to a height of 181 and a whopping built of a bouncer. Which is to them, YOU ARE SOOOO TALLLLLLL! I get that all the time. -_-"
Anyway, i fell asleep on the couch for awhile before i headed home where again i sprung into bed. I woke up really early because i went back camp to grab something and head off to the cousin place the next day. But nothing stops me from dressing up. Hello?! It's a hotel affair, one has to dress up. So i had my black jeans, chandelier silver tee, my nikes and my blazer with a pretty nice hair do to go with it. It was a semi formal event, and i wasn't overdressed alright. Headed off to the cousin's place, and waited for another of my cousin so we could drove off the hotel.
Hyatt was good, the food was fantastic. I was at the reception table having the guestlists and all. Yes, i was a desk boy. Screw the corsages, because i hate flowery thingies pinned on my blazers. LOL. A gazellions of guests, artistes and all. I didn't even know i was related to alot of artistes and ministers! WOO.
And yes, wedding ended with a great hoohaa and of course photowhoring. Well, photos will be up the moment i received them. Hey, i'm gonna continue to blog later, cos i need to yes stupidly wash the dishes before my mom screams her head off any moment now.

The First Entry Of The Month
There is a reason for me to celebrate during the beginning of June.
(1) Hurray to me! Because i'm a one year soldier!
(2) Congratulations to the cousin, who is getting hitched later on tonight!
(3) Have a great and fantabolous 22nd birthday brother!
3 fine reasons greeted the month. How might swell is that? Currently, we are exactly placed in the middle of the year. 6 months had gone by (mighty fast!) and another 6 more months to go until the new year. Without a doubt, i am still uber busy.
I've got to go to work later in the morning, as usual and later head off to the cousin's place for the wedding ceremony. I mean, it doesn't get more tiring than that, plus i maybe a little overdressed for camp, because i'm just too lazy to go home and change. So i'll just might as well glam up for all i care from camp. Heh. But look at it this way, it's the end of the week! And only if Vesak Day falls on the 1st of June; hello to way long weekends.
I've bought the brother a nice gift. I hope he likes it, when i take him out for dinner next week MUAHAHA, i swear, i think belated celebrations are in now. Hello, i celebrated my birthday 3 weeks after my birthday last year! Stupid commitments clashes. And, what does the army does to the best friend for the birthday? He's being given weekend guard duty. -_-"
I am making bunga telor now. Door gifts for the wedding at the Grand Hyatt this tomorrow. Whoah.
Yawns. I need to hit the sack after the 100th doorgift haha. Before i go;
"....22nd 22nd 22nd hohoho 22nd...."
